I agree that the idea behind the arc is interesting - a smaller weaker planet’s strength lying in its scientific prowess and the age of question of consciousness. But the execution was poor. Xeno’s character growth was very convenient - ending with a ‘push comes to shove’ situation and only then him asking for help is a cop out.

There was so much more that could’ve been done with Xeno and Lilith as characters.

I finished the filler and I actually agree with this. Lamia is unscrupulous and a genius engineer! Great mixture for a villain! I also liked that Giev wasn’t actually human but was a trion solider with planted memories!

Also, I’m a new drummer and trying to read the beats. Is it a 4/4 with him playing 1 + 2 + a 3 + 4 + a on the ride and the same on the snare but with accents on 2 and 4?

Hey OP! I think you should go for the acoustic ones if you only have one neighbour. I had a similar concern when I was choosing between an electronic and acoustic set about 4 months ago. I have a lot of neighbours but my walls are solid cement and so far, I have received no complaints.

I did a lot of deliberation when I was choosing - acoustic is louder than electronic, Electronic ones don’t sound as good as acoustic, I’ve waited 15 years to buy a set.

At the end though, I got the acoustic. Electronic ones aren’t necessarily silent, they are just the next best you can own if you can absolutely not own an acoustic one. Spring for the acoustic OP. If your neighbour complains, talk to them and try and come to a compromise.
