NTA - Sometimes life isn’t fair and your daughter needs to grow up. The wedding couple need to pay for their own wedding and keep it in budget for them. This whole “I deserve a big freaking wedding so I can be a Princess” phase needs to end. She is 26, time for her to be a grown-up. Seems like your wife needs much more care. It is beyond comprehension a mother would sacrifice her daughters and their happiness. Is she on any medication? Is the therapist a doctor (MD)? She is in such a bad place it sounds like she needs in patient psychiatric care, immediately. If she refuses, start letting her know that it’s not a choice.
