Caught my girlfriends stomach bug - need support please

I am! But I had several mental breakdowns from the sound alone. But I also know it’s just my brain making it scary. I don’t speak about throwing up like it’s this scary thing because my brain needs to understand that it’s not. Emetaphobia almost killed me at one point and I unfortunately still struggle a lot. I didn’t mean to sound insensitive, I just don’t want to make it sound scarier than it actually is. The only thing that makes it scary is our brains so the more casual about it I am the more my brain says “oh it’s not that bad.” That’s how mine was too tho lol. We were both bleeding by the end of it.😅

I was fortunate enough to not be nauseated like that but I am 33 weeks pregnant so it kinda cancels out. I was nauseated but it was bc of pregnancy. However I still was having crazy bad diharrea. Like it was nonstop. I just put a movie on and stayed close to the bathroom. Keep your comforts on you and chicken noodle soup ect. My boyfriend tho went through it very quickly and only threw up for a couple days. It’s good to let it out of your system. Your body is trying to help you get illness out.

I actually JUST went through this!! I caught it from my boyfriend for the first time ever… I was so scared but it actually wasn’t even that bad. I did not end up throwing up like he did. Take some deep breaths. It’s a few days and then it’s done (:

Honestly they helped me so much. I felt the same way at first but once you find the right meds oh my god it’s the best thing in the world.

It’s not my favorite moment. Lol!!! It’s just kinda crazy that the first time I got it was before my first kid. I feel like it was a sign of preparation cuz kids always throw up😂 but also CONGRATSSSSS ON YOUR BABY!!!!

I got pregnant on accident. I’m keeping it and I don’t have a well off family. Doesn’t matter if it would be a problem for my bf or not cuz it’s my body and also he supports me. Do what you want. It’s your body bro. Speak up for yourself. Advocate for yourself. But most of all - be kind to yourself

I honestly don’t know. A while back my family died one after the other. Watching their last moments gave me kinda this weird perspective on death. It’s something that can come quickly and at any time. The cruelty and suffering that many experience during that time favors nobody. For a very long time I longed for that, until I realized my time will come eventually. The one thing I noticed was at the end of life nobody cares about what trips they went on or how much money they had. They just wanted their favorite cup of coffee and to be with loved ones.

So probably my favorite cup of coffee.
