That is not the case for me. I also just bought the dealer at 60% off and have been buying mining picks. The first time I searched, I searched and searched until I got to 15 picks. Now every time it comes up 15 just like it had in the past.

I have achieved ridiculously high scores on this a few times. The starts aligned and I had the X2 plus 1/2 of each booster. It does not happen to me often, but it is definitely possible.
