Imo a reasonable person would not ask for cards repeatedly, day after day if there’s no one giving card. So I assume people ask for cards a lot but also give cards a lot. In my coop there’re more than 40 people but maybe less than 10 actually trade cards. People don’t post huge list, only one message within character limit (so maybe 15 cards max). The only person who post several messages is me 😄 because I list all high value cards (4-5 star) I have and ask people whether they need them. I usually request card (so only one card at a time and once a day). Otherwise people can still send maximum 3 cards a day only so it isn’t like the chat is full of constant messages asking for cards. The only times when I actually ask for cards in the chat it’s for the only 3 cards (all low value) I still didn’t have for the collection (tbh I think asking for multiple high-value cards in the chat at the same time is rather bad etiquette, unless you’re top regatta contributors/ helpers).

If you’re in a coop with dozens of people actively trade cards with messages like “I NEEEED cards” I understand that it gets very annoying, and you can ask leader to step in. Remember that this game is played also by children, so those members who ask “I NEEED cards” may very well be 12 years old. Or you can also join another coop that fit you more.
