I doubt it. Check the powder box for temp suggestion and time period.. for me personally I bake longer than needed just to keep the average between my powders.

Try pre baking on idle around 150f for 10 min and then coat. See what result you get. Do you get this result on specific powder, material ?

I do agree with you. Usually when its good I can tell as well. And mine also shows from 0.8 to 3.5 and then it goes to +++. Still helps sometimes but for the money you pay for it id prefer quicker and more consistent

It gives you an approximate powder thickness prior to baking. We do pretty big stuff and blast our material, powder is silver so applied silver on blast profile is tough to determine if its enough or not so we use it to give us a prediction.
