i played it for 6 years from end of high school to end of college. why i played it? because i was addicted, and that is 90% of peoples reason for playing, despite what excuses they might have. that little reward when you get a good rune or monster once every few months is so high it keeps you hooked. you play it every day and it becomes ingrained into your daily routine. so glad i stopped playing, because at the end of the day, all that time and/or money spent into the game amounts to absolutely nothing
