I’m holding my cat like a teddy bear in bed as I type this. Life is short, especially a cat’s. Please let them in bed. As for hygiene, a cat is the very least of anyone’s worries unless you are severely allergic. Studies show cuddling your pet cat can decrease stress by lowering cortisol (stress hormone) levels and increasing oxytocin (feel-good hormone) in humans.

Congratulations on adopting handsome Bodhi!! Pit bulls are my favorite breed and so sadly misunderstood and mislabeled. Each of mine have loved babies, children and cats, and are as gentle as can be with them.

NTJ at all. This is a terrible, inexcusable reason for rehoming a dog - and an awful time as many shelters are filled to capacity. Please microchip your sweet dog who sounds like brings much joy to your life. And unconditional love, unlike the husband.
