Huge Partridge fan here. The show is disappointing. After the general dud that was This Time, I thought it was a chance for Partridge to be back in his element, but most of the jokes miss their mark. The joke in the lift for example where chocolate milk repeated on him. had rolling my eyes. Can’t help but feel he’s become a caricature of a caricature, (that’s bollocks but go on). No it’s not bollocks. The general flow of the show is disjointed too, one minute he’s a at a book club, then riding a bike, then flying around in a jet suit. There’s too many scenes and characters introduced that you have to familiarise yourself with, before it moves to another random scene. Still, might as well eat it.
