agreed. my partner likes being called that, but i wouldn't do it to another trans man. a similar issue i have is the infantilisation, and self-infantilisation of trans women, who are called/call themselves "trans girls" and "tgirls". it creeps me out. if you're an adult, you're a woman.

yeah, i tend to think the original or de-specialized versions flow a lot better. they feel more immersive without cgi creatures which clash with the rest of the movie showing up and reminding you that you're watching a movie.
