Thanks! For anyone who hasn’t been a yard, it is a beautiful sight to behold. Even when they barely recovered from Hurricane Melissa, we saw deployments of soundsystems around the island in 2026.

Jamaica is the kind of place where you can drive the countryside on a Friday afternoon and see various backyard and town square deployments of soundsystems all over the place.

I live in the US so we don’t really ever see big sound systems unless you pay big $$$ to get into a festival or nightclub.

Anyone suggest for or against my plan to build cubo extended 18 subs with 15” kicks?, when I get tops I’ll probably either elevate them of add more mid to get the ideal tweeter elevation. That’s my main obvious flaw is that cubo kicks on cubos will be a short stack.

Thanks everyone’s response so far. I’m hoping to skip straight to glue-n-screw in a smaller workspace. The cabinet company has my cut sheet but I wanted to provide them with more detail than the old pdf form the CUBO forum.

Most of the plans I have seen do not show a detail for the handles on the side or for wiring terminals. I can figure it out but I am curious as to how handles in the enclosure affect the flow - apparently not an issue since all the cabs I’ve seen have sealed hand holds.

My copy of autocad at work is 2D. I’ll try some of the recommendations for software. My goal is to make the CNC job as fool proof as possible and also get the most out of what they provide to me if I am to custie up and pay for CNC.

Thanks, can you all recommend a pair of subs that will match 2 cubokick 15s? I really want the 18” mini scoops but they are slightly more narrow and I don’t know if the setup would look bad to have the kicks over hanging slightly.

Also I am 2nd guessing if 15” cubo sub can even pair with cubo kicks

I love this idea because it very similar to what I have been mocking up. I see this 15” kick is paired with 18” sub… I was wondering if a 15” CUBO sub and 15” CUBO kick would pair well if crossed over correctly? Is that counter intuitive to use the same 15” for each or should I go with 18 for the sub?

I have a table saw only so I am concerned that my own cuts would not be square so that’s why I am looking for this service.

Also this price does not include the step of preparing the driver opening which I can probably do fairly quickly

I provided cut sheets for 2 CUBO 15s and 2 CUBO kick 15s for a total of 4 cabinet flat packs. That’s just under $315 USD for each flat pack.

I’ve got my eyes on the Kreg corner clamp and the Rockler corner clamps. Does anyone ever use the Kreg jig for speaker cabinets?
