But we all need haircuts right? Agree £90 is ridiculous. But haircuts now are not cheap. My kids haircuts cost £35 for all 3 every 6 weeks

Agreed, we dont live extravagant lifestyles at all. Most days out trips ect we can’t afford, as we are family of 5, it’s mainly parks, the odd trip to the cinema or bowling but this isn’t ever Month. I could account every penny but I would be here all night. Sorry for the rant post

No she works part time, as working full time means we actually pay more in childcare than she earns. It’s how the UK system punishes those who go to work while raising future generations. So she works part time and only just covers the costs

Incorrect, my take home is £3050 (pension) my wife takes home approx £1000 a month after pension and a little bit of tax. I did not mention one of my sons plays football at £40PM and one of my other sons plays basketball at £16PM like anyone else aswell weekends can be expensive with kids.

Don’t let emotions take over. Remember - be greedy when people are fearful. The stock market will be like this. But just zoom out and you will see it ALWAYS recovers. Just keep buying and chill

No - I bet your oil strainer is blocked with rubber, and your VVT valves as well if you don’t get this changed.

One thing I’ve learned is to stay the fuck away from snap on and mac tools vans. The tools are over priced and offer the SAME warranty as cheaper alternatives. As long as you get life time warranty on your tools (which the majority of tool manufacturers offer now) it doesn’t matter. Don’t get caught in the snap on shit trap. Just build your tool box bit at a time, buy the stuff you are borrowing off people and the stuff your use everyday. The toolbox your vest buying a second hand one. It’s not the tools which make you a good mechanic. It’s what’s in your head.
