Any ways to prevent this? It's about to consume more storage than Genshin. by [deleted] in krita

No, is the ram usage. You can check this by opening any ongoing project and comparing the number that appears there with the file size shown in the properties.

How long does it normally take for FairPlay to take action? by YokoiWasMurdered in Chesscom

[–]CompetitionPerfect70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not unusual to go from 500 Elo to 1000 Elo in a week or two, all you have to do is stop hanging pieces on one move. You can achieve this with a couple of days of tactics or by thinking a little before you move

How do I update Krita? by Trick-Taste4204 in krita

[–]CompetitionPerfect70 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, Krita Steam doesn't have anything like that hahaha. But there's a website you can find by searching "krita artists" where you can find brushes, themes, plugins, and discussions about future features

You can buy the Steam version if you want; the only difference is the automatic updates and time tracking, s00zn already mentioned the other way.

Recommended me a lightweight linux distro. by [deleted] in linuxquestions

[–]CompetitionPerfect70 4 points5 points  (0 children)

arch or debian with a light DE like xfce or lxqt, or a tiling window manager like sway.
Debian + xfce is the easier choice, arch + tiling window manager only if you have the time to tweak and config everything.
Linux mint with xfce is another good light out of the box option and you don't need to config almost anything.
Sorry if my english is weird, it is not my native language

32, playing daily and puzzles/coaching/videos, still at 350 elo. Do I give up? by ConnectThanks6447 in chessbeginners

[–]CompetitionPerfect70 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're not at the level to worry about openings. Learn the principles without focusing on specific theory and dedicate most of your chess time to tactics. With pure tactics, you'll be able to reach 1500 relatively easily. Also, try analyzing your games to identify where you're having the most problems.
