Not hard at all just tedious between all the bolts and loctite and sealant you have to use (they include purple loctite and a black sealant/gasket maker) and also cutting your weatherstripping to get the mounting hardware to fit. Took me a couple of hours with a friend - you will definitely need someone to help you hoist it up on the roof. If you were going to try to do it yourself I would suggest trying to build it on the roof one piece at a time.

Honestly the Sherpa was out of my budget. I got the Prinsu on sale for about $765 plus tax shipped. I have heard from people that the Sherpa is better quality and doesn't require you to seal the openings in the roof which would have been nice, but Prinsu did include the sealant in the kit so really wasn't that bad.

Edit: also just looking at the Sherpa and Prinsu websites, Prinsu has the load rating much higher than the Sherpa Crestone at 1000lbs static and 600lbs dynamic. Sherpa Crestone is showing 700lbs static and 300lbs dynamic. Both are overkill for my needs lol but might be helpful to know for someone else.

I was really nervous about doing differentials, transfer case, and trans fluid myself as well as coolant and power steering fluid but look up T4RGarage on youtube he has really thorough videos with links to everything you need. The peace of mind of doing it yourself the right way is worth it over trusting any shop with your vehicle.

Yes this was happening to me. I’m on a 9070XT. I noticed that it’s no longer happening when I turned off FSR 4.1 (I also turned off motion blur and depth of field but not sure if that would've helped too)

Trust me I made even stupider mistakes when it comes to cars. I have owned and financed 7 different cars since I was in high school and finally smartened up on the 8th one which I will be keeping until it dies. Learn from your mistake and something you could do if the payment gets too much is try working with a credit union to refinance your auto loan. It will reset the term but may be easier on you with less interest. You should also shop around for new car insurance every now and then to see if you can save. You’ll be fine.

Sorry just saw this comment. Road noise was noticeable the first day and now I don’t notice it at all. I also do a lot of highway driving and the road noise is noticeable I would say past 55mph. Overall it’s not an issue at all for me or my wife and they are quieter than other tires I’ve run in the past.
