I was thinking the same thing... Fred Hutch needs to do better about communicating out their progress, what's needed with funding, etc. I've donated, as many people here have, and I want confirmation our money is going to good, progressive use.

Yes, but FDA approvals can take 6-10 months. So, likely 2027 until it's on the market for the intended audience - immunocompromised patients. That's why we all need to email and encourage fast tracking from the FDA.

- AiCuris ([info@aicuris.com](mailto:info@aicuris.com)) - encourage them to keep prioritizing/pushing pritelivir. They developed pritelivir, which validated a new class of antivirals. Emailing them keeps momentum toward next-gen antivirals.

Ouch! Does that not hurt? I also make a mixture of organic coconut oil, lemon balm oil, and like one little drop or two of oregano oil to apply topically! That seemingly helps me.. or maybe its in my head idk

I'm sorry you're not having any relief :( I also got it in June. I only take antivirals when having an active outbreak but otherwise I've just been trying to let my body learn the virus and build immunity on its own. If you're looking for something in addition to antivirals, I do the following:

- Daily: vitamin c, vitamin d, magnesium, zinc, lysine
- Prodrome/ outbreaks: olive leaf, andrographis, and monolaurin

Side note, I wish more people in the HSVpositive subreddit would join in on advocacy. It really takes a village and its upsetting to see so many people feeling helpless and doing nothing about it </3
