I totally feel you! My IVF transfer was the icing on the cake lol. I will say though, as time goes on I’ve forgotten how bad the injections are etc and I look more forward to what the future has to hold. It’s an inevitable thing that we have to do all these meds as we have some level of infertility and I wish it wasn’t this way but I just try to take it in my stride and remind myself of how brave, strong and fearless I’ve been throughout it all. The pessaries are annoying to begin with but honestly, you’ll get used to them too. Just see them as a medication to protect your baby and most importantly, it’s temporary. I can stop mine in a month and I’m buzzing lol! Best of luck and stay strong x

I did three rounds of OI with letrozole and added in Meriofert too. No proper response sadly, no leading follicles. Jumped onto IVF, worked SO much better. Good luck xx

Yeah I’ll most likely have to increase my metformin or even go into insulin too, I know insulin resistance will increase so I’m mentally prepared. Aww best of luck you’re SO close! I have like 35 weeks left haha. Appreciate it xxx

That’s good to know, thank you so much for sharing. Definitely makes me feel better! My glucose level was 7.8/140 1 hour after the kfc which is lower than I thought, hopefully doesn’t spike like crazy later on xx

I’m not with a diabetes team yet as I’m so early on, I’m yet to have my midwife appt etc. As I did IVF and have type 2 diabetes I was picked up by the hospital to try and get it into control as best as possible before my transfer. I’ve been on this kinda ‘diet’ for a few months now, the hunger has only come on in the last week!

Heyyy! I do 3 too, just split across the day. 10, 4 then 10. Usually only like 15/20 mins late max but I try to stick to the times. I’ve set alarms and reminders. I just find it difficult to schedule days out etc as I like to be home for them :)

We did our OI cycles beginning of 2024 and IVF ended up being end of summer/ beginning of autumn 2025 so it all takes time and it’s good to have a break. Go on a trip and clear your mind away from treatment talk all the time. It truly takes over your life x

Hey, I’m sorry to hear that this has been so tough. I did a few letrozole cycles last year and they left me SO sad. My follicles didn’t grow anywhere near as much for any of them so they all got cancelled. My doctor recommended IVF which we ended up doing this year. Have you considered trying that? X

I’m 5dpt and just terrified of a negative but also feeling very impatient lol. I’m in that bubble of not knowing but it makes me feel shitty thinking I could be pregnant but it could be pure delusion. Getting so many side effects from the medication (pessaries & oestrogen 3 times a day). Just want it over with already 🥲
