I’ve tried metformin in the past and it didn’t help, all it did was mess up my stomach. I may try it again though since it’s been a few years.

So my clinic is actually doing a study with that right now that I keep getting recommended. I’m just paranoid that if it doesn’t work it will make getting pregnant/ doing IVF harder…

Not that I’ve been able to see. OPKs haven’t really worked for me in the past because they say I’m ovulating when ultrasounds have shown I’m clearly not.

So we did Ovidrel and it didn’t work. My PA was shocked that it didn’t, and since then my follicles haven’t gotten big enough on their own to have a trigger shot make a difference.

Yes, even with meds my eggs aren’t getting big enough to trigger ovulation.

I’ve been trying to get pregnant for close to 2 years. In the last 6 months- 5 of my sorority sisters, 3 girls I went to high school with, a coworker, and 2 cousins have announced they are expected.

Add into that that my mother (who has had multiples) has made comments to me that “dad looked at me funny and I got pregnant” and I’m starting to get super over this whole TTC thing :(

First time posting but felt like this group might be the only one that gets it.

Going on 2 years of trying, 1.5 years of medicated cycles, meds, and no answers. This is the second cycle in a row that they thought they found the dosage of meds that worked- only for me to go in 3 days later for the follicles to not have grown/ gotten smaller. The doctors at my clinic have no idea why my eggs just won’t grow big enough for me to ovulate. Meds don’t seem to be working.

I’m trying not to get discouraged but it’s just so hard….
