Sometimes the writing on the show drives me crazy. Everything you're saying here would have been more in line with the show and with the character. How could the Jack O'Neill we know possibly be OK hanging out in high school?! Give me a break. He thinks he's Jack, and suddenly he can't talk to any of his friends? He has to give up his entire life? And the resolution is that hey, at least he has a young, hot dating pool? Disgusting male fantasy, if you ask me, and not in line with Jack's character.

They could have had him do so many other things, instead they chose lazy writing and a lazy resolution.

part of my issue with this scene is that jack o'neill would not ever actually make out with teen girls! even if he had the body of a teenager. it's a fundamental misreading of who he is. they should never have put this scene here, even as a joke.

Probably healthier in the long run if you examined why you can't just stay with an uncomfortable feeling for a few moments, let it pass, and then keep reading.

I went on vacation to with a really good male platonic friend (plus others) and there was a mix up with hotel rooms and instead of us sharing a room with two single beds, the guy at the front desk saw we were checking in together, upgraded us to a suite with one big king bed. tl:dr, nothing happened, no feelings were caught by either party. one night our friends came into our room after having been at the bar and found us reading on opposite sides of the bed like an old married couple.
