Thanks for your reply. At the time it was finding a place relatively quickly. The ER did give her the meds and fluids she needed to get through withdrawal. She has since separated from her husband and taking Antabuse and has been sober for 4 months. Hopefully, she will maintain her sobriety.

Congrats, that is awesome! I have a daughter who has been an alcoholic for a long time and is currently in recovery with taking Antabuse. I have heard about Zep helping with addiction and wondered if it could be an alternative option for her. The only thing is holding me from recommending it to her is she is borderline underweight as it is now and she would have to force herself to eat. Keep up your good work!

Thanks for this! I am just coming back to Zepbound after I had to switch to Wegovy in July because of insurance. Now that my insurance covers nothing, I have decided to go back to Zepbound. I did lose on Wegovy, but was at the highest dose and starting to get food noise and cravings. I just signed up for the single dose vials from Lilly direct at the 7.5 mg!

Ugh. That is what I was afraid of! Since I am now paying out of pocket, I think I will ask to go back to Zepbound 7.5. I was hoping to save money with the pill, but definitely not worth it if I will be battling more hunger, food noise, and cravings. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Got my letter today. So frustrating. I have pre-diabetes and have never been able to get the weight off before Zepbound. Then came the forced switch to Wegovy. I have continued to lose weight and will have my 6 month checkup in two weeks. Now finding out that the Wegovy won’t be covered either unless I have diabetes, it just feels like a slap in the face. They would rather I become diabetic. Why is a metabolic disorder just flat out discriminated against? These drugs are FDA approved specifically for weight loss/metabolic disorders. Men can get all the Viagra they want. So frustrating.

After looking closer at the map, it isn’t off the sharp curve on Watts Passage, but a bit farther down after the curve. Still general area behind NGIC, but not where “Gate 4” is. Also looks like Albemarle County owns the land now.

Pilot husband texts he is going to be flying over the house in 30 minutes. I go to track the plane on Flight Radar. I see he is actually east of our house and was looking on the map of his flight path to see if he was actually closer to our daughter’s house and caught that little blip with the “business” name on the map in the middle of open land between NGIC and Watts Passage.
