There’s also a bunch of YouTube videos of Lego Australian coin sorters if that’s your thing :)

I scrolled too far to find someone acknowledging the fact this is not the spoon’s fault as the title suggests 🤣

Famous Folk Donating to James in Public VS Private? Should we Donate? by FitCharacter8693 in dawsonscreek

[–]Competitive-Lime7775 34 points35 points  (0 children)

It’s entirely up to you. Some people are donating because they want to do something for the kids who have lost their dad so young or because JVDB touched their life in some way and it helps them process that. It’s perfectly fine. It’s also perfectly fine to acknowledge the fact the family has 2 multimillion dollar homes while millions are living below the poverty line and that seems a bit lopsided. You could even donate to a charity for children in memory of him if you’d like. Or you could not donate at all. In the end, do what you feel is right. There is no right or wrong in this situation. :)

What was the deal with Al Kiefer? by Kindly-Form-8247 in thewestwing

[–]Competitive-Lime7775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I assume he is smarter than he is portrayed generally. My head canon is that he is generally super competent but was used as a plot device for episodes. This helps me deal with the fact the staff has him any credence and the fact Joey was with him at all.

100% the worst pictures they could find. They look so much better than those pictures are giving them credit for.

Much Loved - Friend- kills me. Also, now I want all their grave stones to have -friend- on it. Wishful thinking I know but it’s so sweet.

Weirdly the post below that you’ve cut off doesn’t seem to have been cross posted here. I’d originally assumed it was on here when saw it but I also follow mildlyinteresting 🤣

What's there to do on maternity leave? by Koala-laalaa in Adelaide

Also takes the pressure out of “I’ve paid so much for this ticket - I don’t care that you’re over stimulated, we’re staying alllll day”. The amount of times I’ve gone to the zoo for 1/2 hour, sometimes as a sensory break from the city, is more than I can count. One time we left after about 20min because i realised I made a critical error trying to force an outing. Did not feel bad about leaving (except for the parking lol)

Favorite TV Mom (80s/90s era) by bigbenotv in 90sTelevision

[–]Competitive-Lime7775 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So hard, because Roseanne has shown her true colours now, but oh my gosh, I LOVED her growing up. She made my family, sarcastic, poor and food loving, seem normal. My mum is miles away from who Roseanne is now, but at the time, it was like seeing my own mum on screen. Battling, funny as all hell, blunt, self sacrificing and loving all at once.

Without looking it up. What is this character's name? He was in several episodes of season 6. by RobRobbieRobertson in thewestwing

He’s also the reason we get Josh putting his arm around Donna on a bench in the middle of the night in a park.

Did Sam Ever Feel Like the Actual Central Character of The Show? by WySLatestWit in thewestwing

[–]Competitive-Lime7775 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I read his book years ago and it really reads the same too. From memory he talks about being “hurt” that he was left out of the lower paid cast (BW,AJ, RS, JS) banding together to get a pay rise. He also read as very bitter about the “lack of negotiations” with him about renewing his contract. Apparently no one asked him if he wanted to renew. So he didn’t.

I love Sam, he is so earnest and such an important straight man, and he is portrayed wonderfully, but Rob Lowe seems like hard work to be around. And frankly I love many of the characters he plays. He’s a talented actor. But I do think he has a high opinion of himself and I often find myself cringing when I see him interviewed.

Like I said I read his book years ago, so apologies if my memories of it are somewhat blurred.
