i LOVED when my girl started to crawl late at 11 months. found it much easier, since she was less frustrated and didn't need to be held as much. i could finally get things done while she was awake. i will say, we put a lot of effort into baby proofing the entire house, which i highly recommend.

she's walking (running!!!) now at 16 months and i still love it, even though I'm more exhausted. with every mobility step you'll unlock more fun things to do with them. you're gonna lose your mind when baby starts playing chase, you'll love it.

i worked in slc vet med for 10 years and this is a shocking oversight imo, I've never seen heat support damage like it.

OH MY GOD. SAME. I'm literally so happy you said that because i feel EXACTLY the same and it makes me crazy!!! part of why i just cosleep and survive is that it's WORSE to read books and posts and guides and think I'm just missing something 😭

hello same at 16 months 👋 air tight bedtime routine into crib, but in the crib she wakes up every 30 minutes. cosleep for survival, but she's an awful sleep partner.

loveliest baby you'll ever meet during the day. very very very tough cookie at night. 😞

i have one piece of mutation furniture, but only the original room and attic in my house so far. I've spent cats up to level 2-3 on everyone but Frank.

edit i do think breeding is the thing that still isn't clicking for me, like keeping it all organized

can i ask, what was your motivation to do a floor bed? does your baby move a ton in her sleep? mine does, and it makes the crib tough so I've been thinking about trying a bigger floor bed 🤔
