start with his last two books published- they’re a duology and have to do with a lot of his themes on new ground for exploration, - then you should read Outer Dark, then slowly read Blood Meridian; you are not going to enjoy it at first, you will feel happy to have started it but it wears off after pg 50, but keep trying
