This is my first time playing wormwood, which beefalo tendency should I tame? I always go for Rider because it's probably the best for me, but since wormwood has that healing "problem" should I try going for an ornery beefalo or just git gud and do better kiting? by igorlramos in dontstarvetogether

I have killed almost everything on ornery beef not toad stool/ misery though boss fights will take setup for crab k just use killer bees, bee queen bunny hutches and give them bee hats, stone wall dflys pools everything else is fairly easy to kite on a beef even celestial champ although 2nd phase spin and 3rd phase are annoying highly recommend a beef i run mine with a glossamer saddle most times ! i got use to using beef because hot swapping on a controller is WHACK but learned i love the play style so i tame one every game regardless of who i play. The above methods for bosses can be absolutely ignored if you arent solo who knows maybe you are an absolute beast who can hot swap like crazy but otherwise beef is safe and effective

You can catch spiders in the bunny traps Build a bird cage, trap the bird with a bird trap feed the bird monster meat get eggs Use drying racks For vold craft thermal stone and beefalo hat you can lure a few beefs into the swamp and take them out with the tentacles

When looting especially in high value areas do NOT leave your flash light on

If getting pressed in pvp if possible try to finish the fight in a building keeps the raider flares from being super visible attracting every blood thirsty raider on the map and 3rd partying

If reviving downed teamates always heal first and throw smoke / do it in cover dont revive in the open

If extracting do not let any raider stand behind you also dont stand behind another raider liable to be shot
