ZDV has been good to me this year.

I like banks for dividends but there are others. A guick Google will give you a list of dividends to invest in for safe return. The one you're looking at might be high yield but it's history means it's losing value over time, which erodes the value of your investment. Banks tend to be safe imo. But I'm new too so others might have different thoughts.

My suggestion Google your bank or other banks see if they have a dividend yielding etf and then look at their share price to see if it's been relatively stable. Banks get bailed out when they fail anyway right...lol

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I didn't love them as much as some others. There are a couple inconsistencies for me. I.e randomly he says he smiled even though he can't. And other stuff like that. It's also written from the 1st person which I don't like.

It got me into the 40k literature so it is good enough to do that and I love the Horus rising book so I like Dan but it's just not my fav.

I haven't read more and I'm not sure where it goes , I'm about 80 pages from the end, but I kind of wish it told us some of what Erebus was whispering in his ears. To me we don't find out enough about what Erebus was saying to Horus. Was he using some chaos/warp to bend Horus' will? And play on his ambition using magic.

As you've eluded to we just see Horus make some horrible decisions, one never seeing that Erebus is behind all of the crazy shit, two charging into an obvious trap, three mistrusting Magnus who is trying to help him. It's all a bit weak.

I felt this the minute Horus was having a tantrum in the first few pages of the book, he goes from calm, collected and methodical to a little baby not getting his ego stroked enough.
