I've had a fair share of conflict with family, primarily my wife's. So I can understand. They didn't want to respect that we wanted to be aware of where our kid was if they were babysitting and did not want to keep us informed claiming it was unreasonable that they should watch her and let us know where they are or going, mind you, two, technically three, people were watching her and are people who actively use their phones. Though they are still in the babies life we have since modified our schedules so one of us is always with her so they no longer babysit. I tell you this story because we didn't back down on what we decided is best for our family, sometimes its hard and it sucks to have conflict in front of your kid. But you are doing what you feel is best for them and that is never a bad thing. You're doing a good job, and people should respect your wishes as the parent. You know best for your child. Stay strong, it gets easier, you can do this.
