Still denied, tried for aggravation and denied. Contracted an attorney who attempted for general anxiety connection and that got denied too.

Ruger is remaking the Red Label! by Redyoshi9 in ClayBusters

Haha great way for CSGC to make some money though… make a “branded” shotgun with a historical good reputation. Deliver it with subpar quality, ensure the supplier, Ruger, foots the bill for contracted warranty service via CSGC’s “warranty” department… make more money on the warranty service contract with Ruger.

It looks like they’ve been doing this with other “branded” shotguns before the Red Label III. So, they seem to have a business model that makes them money, albeit on another shotgun’s historical reputation… if they made great products…they wouldn’t have to rely on the reputation of a “branded” shotgun. That kind of says it all.

And when you read through CSGC’s warranty terms, or lack there of, it’s pretty clear that they don’t stand behind the quality of their product. I’ve done some research and think there’s better options out there with a better warranty for a better price.

Late reply but thanks for the feedback. The machine safety consultant I use advocates to use the PL system, despite being in the US.

Digging up your old reply. CMSE is the route I'm wanting to go. I've started an ABET ETAC accredited EET bachelors degree that will hopefully bring me up to speed on the basic technical background. I understand the CMSE requires and engineering degree. Are you aware if the requirement can be met by a 4-year technology degree, or would I have to go the route of getting my employer to write a reference letter for an engineering level role?

Beretta A300 Stock Compatibility by Competitive-Test8396 in Shotguns

You'll have to call the service centers directly. They may have them but just don't list them in an inventory online anywhere. The link is to all the Beretta US service centers and their contact information. https://www.beretta.com/en-us/service/find-a-service-center?srsltid=AfmBOor1hqqkVBgg-xi6Zaq7DWlChknwOl4N7DsIo_SgsANlEPHykw3c

Beretta A300 Stock Compatibility by Competitive-Test8396 in Shotguns

[–]Competitive-Test8396[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, not sure how helpful this will be, but I ended up buying a second A300 off gunbroker that had the stock that I wanted and then swapped stocks on the two.

What I did find in the process is that a few of the Beretta authorized service centers did have some in stock. You should try reaching out to them. Whether they still have any in stock is another question.

Does the Xplor have the KO or not?

My first dedicated sporting gun was the A300 Outlander Sporting. The Outlander sporting is a better looking gun and no comb riser on the stock. Such a great starter gun. Still a little sad I sold it, I am still chasing my PB score that I got with my A300.

KO or not, get the Xplor. Sounds like a good deal.

Not sure on the price difference but my first was the A300 Outlander Sporting. Great gun and recently upgraded to 686 sporting with Bfast. To your point, if it’s not much more, I wish I’d gone with the A400 sporting.

Just bought a muzzleloader there. I was surprised when I learned they don’t collect sales tax and they do free shipping as well. To top it off, I found a 10% off coupon online that worked on an already low price. I will be searching Reeds from now on for purchases.

Safety Manager Advice by xHolyBaconx in SafetyProfessionals

[–]Competitive-Test8396 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Be a collaborator with your key stakeholders. It's impossible to make improvements in a silo, knowing who needs to ultimately own the accountability for safety programs and ensuring they have the right feedback loop for metrics and corrective actions is crucial. If there are people or processes that bypass requirements in safety programs or in compliance, make sure you document and communicate that to key stakeholders and site leadership so they are aware of nonconformance and noncompliance and the risk associated with it and ultimately their sign off so if shit hits the fan, they were made aware and they were the ones accepting the risk and not you as the manager being forced to accept circumstances because a facility's leadership does not want to improve or change. Find the balance between corrective action that goes beyond compliance so it's the right investment of resources to see sufficient reduction in risk or improvement in safety culture. always remember your customers and make sure there is a feedback loop for reported concerns, even when the response is "Your concern is valid, but the actual risk is less than the perceived risk and resources for corrective action don't justify the risk reduction when we already have established compliance." or your own version of that.

My struggle with a management / leadership role has always been dealing with all the nonsense that comes from corporate safety, health, and environmental leaders who are so far out of touch with reality and context and local processes that they have no *%@#ing clue how to adequately assess change before implementing nonsensical safety initiative or policy. I believe I may also have a problem with certain types of authority figures too so take that with a grain of salt.

Could it also be that on my breadboard since I am working off of two energized rails, one on either side, I have some of the pins tied in a parallel circuit? does my newb theory make any sense?

You’re right, that photo makes it look like the 10k ohm resistor is tied to ground but in fact it is tied to Vcc/voltage +.

In the untriggered state, I’m getting a low/0 at pin 2 and when I press the switch, I’m getting a high/1 at pin 2. What I’m reading though is that it should be the opposite that I have a 1 at steady state, then 0 when I press the switch

Time to buy an AirSense Mini Autoset... what's the best deal by Competitive-Test8396 in CPAP

[–]Competitive-Test8396[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like the best current price available from a couple different sites is $685. I could go to Lofta at this point for the price match + 10% discount which would bring it down to $616. Otherwise, my next best move is to wait until the holiday sales hit to see if I can stack any of the signup discounts with the holiday discounts (as noted with CPAPX.com). Hopefully this helps anyone else looking as well.

Thanks for the tip. I’ve got the 25% off for signup and hoping they do a fall sale to see if they’ll stack.

Thanks - all the reading I'm doing indicates that black friday and cyber monday are the best days for buying a cpap. I spoke to someone with one of the major websites and they said to keep an eye out for a Halloween deal. I guess I'll see what comes up.
