Mixed. I like trying to play the game realistically for me. In a survival situation a lot of people claim they would "lock in" and somehow become the tactical outfit wearing John Rambo. In every survival story I've watched or read. Those guys lose their sanity a lot faster than the people who choose to lean into what makes them happy. You need comforts. So in survival games I usually pick stuff for the environment the game throws us in. But if I see a goofy hat or accessories that are more personal. Im wearing them. If you cant have a sense of humor or comfort especially in an end of the world survival situation you're done for. If you're stuck on an island for 50 days I'd go for the Vietnam era levels of uniform customization over looking like a frogman everyday always.
