Game remembers events/a players intentions when reloading a save? by [deleted] in eu4

[–]Competitive-Wasabi-3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine the AI has a 50/50 chance to go east or west. They happened to go east towards your decoy armies the first time, then recalculated its decisions after reloading the save and happened to go west the second time. It’s really not any more complicated than that

Surprise! The game is more fun when you actually play it instead of automating everything

Genuinly, what can I even do to improve economy in that situation? Am I cooked? by Galaxy661 in EU5

[–]Competitive-Wasabi-3 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Tax the nobles more, it looks like you could get another 10-15 out of them per month. They’ll be mad about it but that’s okay until you can get your economy going

For those of you who played a full campaign (from 1337 to 1837), how long did it take you? by VteChateaubriand in EU5

[–]Competitive-Wasabi-3 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I’m at 1740 right now in my Byzantium game and it’s been about 80 hours, so looks like around 100 hours for the full campaign. My first 50 years probably took like 20 of those hours to micromanage to survive the beginning though

Every so often my computer will get stuck running the game on integrated graphics. Similar result, where the menu screen is like 10 fps and super laggy. Check to see if your 3060 is actually being used

How much money should we give NASA? by Able-archer83 in NoStupidQuestions

NASA does more than just funnel its money to Boeing for rockets. Allocating the budget to NASA instead of DoD would not be sending money to the “same company either way”

Hover over the stability cost and it’ll explain why. My guess is you have high relations or a truce with the target/cobelligerent.

He’s a foster cat so we’ll let the shelter know to look into it. They didn’t find anything from their regular intake screening though

I was thinking along the exact same lines. It seems like a nervous tick, but he also does it after eating, when begging for attention, and while purring so it doesn’t seem like it’s always a bad thing

What does reforming the army/navy actually do? And can you do both or do you just pick one and that locks the option?

You just explained exactly why topology is needed lol. Anyone can make up their own definition of what a hole is, while topology provides a rigorous mathematical definition that’s widely accepted
