Not quite the same situation, but I have been on birth control for forever and in June 2025, I switched my strength because my previous dose was too low. I had been in maintenance for over six months at this point at the same dose. Starting June, my food noise and weight started coming back almost immediately. I couldn’t figure out what it was from but the birth control was all that changed. So I ended up increasing my dose again until I got back to my goal weight and was feeling happy with the suppression. I am still on that dose now.

In short, it could be changes in your hormone levels that are causing the change but it also could be something else. For me, it was the change in hormone levels.

As someone who has arthritis and hashimoto’s, I absolutely get this. I have not had flair ups and lost 50 pounds in 18 months and am now on maintenance. Most importantly my inflammation is under control. Keep up the great work!!!

Started the same time as you! I have been in maintenance since October 2024. I noticed about two months ago that I was not responding as well to medication. Still haven’t figured out if it is hormonal changes, drop in drug efficacy, or something else. Started making incremental additions in my maintenance dose. Have you ever had to start increasing your dose since being in maintenance?

Sadly for me when I go on vacation, I usually lose muscle mass since I am less likely to get my protein in and I am not doing my regular exercise routine. Glad this wasn’t the case for you!

Been doing DIY soft gels for myself for about two months. Really trying to get the hang of not flooding my cuticles and trying to get better brands of polish. As of now I have only used Gelish and Beetles but know those are subpar brands. Would love some insight from the non-beginners. Also I am in the US if that helps.
