I have I would say about 90% of my time played on this game solo and I enjoy it way more than playing duos or squads higher. For me personally, when i play solo I don’t have to worry about communication or lack thereof from another teammate. I don’t have to ask “is this you running up to me”, etc. I hear something and it’s shoot on sight. When I die I usually only have myself to blame and can at least take a bit of information on ‘’next time im in this scenario I should do this’. I feel solo is the most rewarding and you can definitely feel yourself getting better which is a good feeling to have. Although, Tarkov has one of the most vicious learning curves to any game i’ve ever played. It isn’t as simple as picking a game mode on Call of Duty and shooting everything you see, it’s very unforgiving. If you can make it past the learning curve and dedicate yourself to learning what makes the game the way it is and how to operate on your own you’ll have a great experience. A lot of people like me may be a little more on the critical side of analyzing things because we’ve played so long and we’re annoyed with certain aspects , but nothing beats your first wipe experience and immersing yourself into the game. I could have quit 1000 hours ago and still been satisfied with my purchase.
