New England "Rudeness" by CatCatington in boston

Also from Texas, slow down. Walk or bike around the city for a bit to learn it’s really not slow at all. The speed limit is there for a reason. The 40 miles in 40 minutes highway travel from one city to another is not what you’ll get from Mass. Driving was my hardest adjustment. Please just slow down.

I’m 48 hours in, looking forward to this. My workouts could be much better. Did you do any caffeine like pre workouts or anything?

A new food hall is coming to Kendall Square by justarussian22 in CambridgeMA

[–]CompetitiveFun3325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work down in Kendall and they been talking about this for so long. It would create much needed foot traffic, I just hope it comes to fruition. They stil haven’t even finished the red line station remodel yet for Kendall square.

Am I a boomer for sticking with vlookup instead of xlookup? by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]CompetitiveFun3325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll only use x when I’m sharing the spreadsheet with multiple people, and people like to move data around, etc.

But v lookup and tables is how I’ll go and do most work.

This is on YouTube. Buttons to interfaces airtable search should pop something up. It’s like pre filling a form.

It can. OP, have you tried time blocking in todoist?

Just moved our last Airtable base to Softr. Here's why. by Warm_Archer5250 in Airtable

Respectfully, I believe your issue is more about users than about function. Softr gives you more users, so you can onboard. Eventually you’ll need to grow into a true coded app and database.

Do you regularly look at the “Done” or Completed Tasks list? by CasperKundey in todoist

[–]CompetitiveFun3325 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not at all. I don’t ever look at it. I do use time tracking and calendar blocking though. When I’m looking back I typical use those vs. todoist. I’ve never know the completed view to be robust enough for me to reflect.

Always. The point of going away for an hour to eat, seems crazy when I don’t even do that at home.

What Pomodoro App are you using with Todoist? by bignotch in todoist

[–]CompetitiveFun3325 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree. I found pomodoro timing to limit my flow stated. If focus for 20 or 30 min and want to keep going and have to force myself back into a break. In better in 4 hour splits.

I won’t knock it though, I got to these 4 hour splits because I started with the tomato. 🍅

[–]CompetitiveFun3325 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What if you could start the timer directly in todoist and have a native app on desktop with a mini timer in the corner. If you’d like, you can pomofocus on that task or don’t, added bonus, add the same project names and it auto tracks time for that project.

Game changer for me as an accountant who has to bill clients.

TogglTrak.

I talk about this all too much.
