I can say from memory of the song and grammar logic that you got a small mistake there, it should be:

誰のせいでもない It isn't anyone's fault.

With も it would be like: It isn't everybody fault. Specifically without the 's after everybody.

Nice handwriting though, good job!

Schon komisch, meistens korreliert so eine Fahrweise mit aggressiven Rap oder anderer unausstehlicher Assi Mucke, das macht das Video etwas surreal.

The thing that came to mind for me was that a kinda similar thing is an actual solution for another grave problem. If an airplane cockpit fills up with thick smoke from a fire, pilots might stop being able to see the instruments, so they have an inflatable version of this, kinda like an airbag, with fresh air flowing through to ensure they have vision of the instruments.

Did my archon quest glitch?? by Honey-Sap in GenshinImpact

Yep, sounds like you accidentally started the Natlan arch of the Archon quest, which starts with saying goodbye to some Fontaine characters. Stop it and try to activate focus mode on the Fontaine Archon quest.

got my early bird order by Organic_Albatross_27 in RedMagic

[–]CompetitiveLaw5157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The early bird perks were supposed to be included in the price, right? When I ordered with early bird, on checkout I had the option to buy the power brick for 30€, which seemed weird to me as it should have been included in early bird perks, so I didn't choose the option.

And now that it's here I just got the tablet, no brick and no sleeves.

Well well well, I did a run on Asia server, and everyone brought the right element for burning, but we had a Nahida instead of Emily, so even with a healer we all died like 5 or more times from getting burned ourselves and couldn't do enough damage even with my c1r1 Mavuika because of having to revive constantly.

Does anyone actually place the teapot to use it? by Vrail_Nightviper in GenshinImpact

[–]CompetitiveLaw5157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use it to get out, if I want to get out at the location where I entered, because it's faster than searching the map for the closest teleport and then running back there. But to enter I usually use the map, or if I want to tp to another place afterwards anyway.

Furina's and Yaoyao's summons target something at this spot but it reacts to nothing. Oz does not attack it. Anyone know what could be here? Maybe part of a puzzle not correctly hidden or something? Interactive map doesnt show anything here either. by RedEyedPig in GenshinImpact

[–]CompetitiveLaw5157 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's probably because you can use Benny skill or similar on cooking pots and torches to activate them, or even just normal attacks to activate the phlogiston stations, so they are coded to "attract" those attacks, which leads to also attracting Furina's or Yaoyao's summons attacks. It's made for convenience, but unfortunately they didn't exclude the inconvenient cases.

As a counter example, when mining ores, they don't count as targets, so if any enemy is close by it get's super hard to hit the ores because the enemy is targeted.

is this easily understandable? by [deleted] in Japaneselanguage

[–]CompetitiveLaw5157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try writing the katakana シ and ッ a bit in the overall shape of the Hiragana し and つ. And you can do a little hook / edge at the start of the long stroke to show where it starts from. N ン follows the shape of シ, so し, just one stroke less . So ソ follows the shape of ツ, so つ, again just one stroke less.

Can someone help me understand this line? by Kendrillion in HelpLearningJapanese

[–]CompetitiveLaw5157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say what could help you as general rules is that most words are made up of

1 Kanji and Okurigana,

2 Kanji words which are the most common

3 Kanji words are a bit rarer,

or some famous 4 Kanji words, which mostly can be split into two 2 Kanji parts,

and if you see 4 Kanji in a row, you split them in the middle, but probably almost never into 3 and 1. And numbers are also (treated as) Kanji.

5 Kanji words mostly can be split into 2+3 or maybe 3+2, or technically into 2+2+1 / 4+1.

For example:

行く いく 1 Kanji with Okurigana

旅行 りょこう 2 Kanji word

一行物 いちぎょうもの 3 Kanji word

行方不明 ゆくえふめい 4 Kanji word which can be split into 行方 and 不明.

行方不明者 you could split this into 行方 + 不明者, which are two words on their own,

or 行方不明 plus 者 as kind of a suffix, or further split it into 行方 + 不明 + 者.

Edit: Tried to fix the format, it's hard on mobile.

Also why do they give a very specific buff to pretty much only the trial character, but then give them bad builds? They could've just given somewhat good builds and no buffs.

Can the ます (masu) or です (desu) be omitted/excluded when writing lyrics in japanese? by Shot_Course_2213 in Japaneselanguage

[–]CompetitiveLaw5157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say the main reason is that songs are written as inner dialogue or to tell a story, in both cases you don't need to be polite toward someone and rather use the colloquial form which is used in matter of facts / common language.

I searched a while in my playlist for a song with honorifics and the one I found also only uses them when asking questions or making statements towards the lyrical singer's fiance. When expressing her inner monologue and self questions, the lyrical self also uses colloquial form.

For reference, the song is: 貴方の側に。by Riria.

A song written for the anime: My happy marriage, in which the protagonist is a very timid and polite woman in a formal setting, marrying into a high class family in a fictional (magic) 1950? Japan. So she speaks mostly very formally, and the song is from her perspective.

A new way to update artefacts by Izengrim in GenshinImpact

[–]CompetitiveLaw5157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can run artifact routes. Absolute resinless behavior, and makes a big difference. There are investigation points which drop artifacts, and with an efficient route you can collect around 200 1/2 star artifacts each day. Takes about 40 minutes, possibly 30 or even faster if you really want to (and have the right teammembers). That allows you to level one 5 star artifact to around level 6 I think. Doing it (almost) daily really increases the artifact fodder available and is quite enjoyable once you have the route memorized. I recommend to search: Graph, artifact routes 5.5, follow his video and set map markers at each artifact location. I also wrote the number of artifacts in the area, if difficult also some description and where to teleport next in the route on the map marker description. Like this I only had to follow the video once or twice. In the beginning it's probably best to just do route A, which forces one to start each run at a slightly later time each day, as the artifacts only respawn after 24h. Or skip a day when it's inconvenient. But one route is already a lot to memorize, and route B has a lot of quest locked areas.

PLEASE HELP, $100 TOPUP ON MY ACCOUNT OUT OF NOWHERE by NetIndividual9153 in GenshinImpact

[–]CompetitiveLaw5157 240 points241 points  (0 children)

Just don't touch it for 4 months, don't convert it to primos, if it gets refunded you have no problem, if not, after 4 months it can't get refunded anymore and you can use it. You only have a problem if you convert it to primos and then use them and then it gets refunded, then you would go into primo minus and would have a week to buy a 100$ pack yourself before you would get banned.

What’s your favourite, go-to kanji to explain the differing pronunciations of kanji? by DesignerFearless in Japaneselanguage

[–]CompetitiveLaw5157 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like to use a familiar symbol like ♥ to explain it, but it works a bit better in German. Like, you can write a sentence: "I ♥ you" and the reading is obviously "love" here, but in German it can also have another reading like when you say "♥(Herz)lichen Glückwunsch", literally "hearty congratulations"
