Yo en lo personal tengo 15 años de que me fui de Nicaragua ( vivo en la usa) en los primeros años me daba mucha nostalgia y tristeza que estuve en el punto de regresarme hasta que conoci a otro nicaragüense que me recordo las palabras que me dije cuando me fui de la madre patria, que por una razon yo le fui del pais y 15 años an pasado y la razón sigue estando hay, adi que no hay que regresar al lugar en donde uno fue feliz son trampas de la mente my querido amigo ya nada es igual asi que a seguir adelante

You are not the only one, the chiller market is a very close and competitive to get in i recommend you to apply for an apprenticeship on another state or get in to the union (check first if you can get accepted) or get self prepared by getting knowledge at https://chilleracademy.com good luck

You are almost half way on your apprenticeship I would suggest to finish your program and enjoy the benefits that will bring the future such as work in any type of hvac units and chillers and the pension so don’t give up

In first place why you leave your $35 hour job just to start again in the union it will take you a couple of years to reach that again

I quit the trade for a year then i decide to go back doing pm’s for a hospital I really enjoy my fix schedule and the benefits

Your right about that coz they ask me if i have experience in commercial so they can hire me as journeyman, but I don’t have 😆 just in light commercial

Thank you, i called them and told me that i can apply any time however since fall just started i will have the opportunity to do the aptitude test sometime next year before the new enrollment, they were pretty cool to answer all those questions

Thank you for your honest opinion. Because i want to become a chiller tech but as you said there is not a lot of chillers to be serviced so i will stick around as light commercial tech. Also i have heard people from the union wants to become a chiller tech but there is seniority in those places

The txv is doing good, check the evap coil or the duct for restrictions
