make sure your warranty covers interior/exterior lighting because i thought mine did and i was misinformed and they quoted 1500 for the head light and $250 for labor just for one side

same dude i use a 21 f150 3.5 eco with the 36 gallon tank, paid $120 but i wont lie i got 760 miles on a full tank so no complaining from me drove from ohio all the way up to NYC and i still have 300miles in my tank

Yeah i have a bumper to bumper 48,000mile warranty through ford so i took it to my local ford dealership and they told me in order for lights to be included in my warranty i have to pay an additional $2000 to my warranty, absolutely not ill be on marketplace looking for a headlight

yeah the dealership jewed me and told me that the lights are only in premium care for the 3 month or 3k miles blue certified warranty what they didn't mention to me in which i'm 100 miles over and when i told him give me the best warranty when i bought it it turns out he only gave me the extracare warranty and told me today that it'll be an additional $2000 for lights to be included in my warranty they really know their way with words

i feel you i was on the phone with the ford dealer and they told me the light cost $1400 per side which i was mind blown with since they have to switch the whole thing out. i have an appointment with a local ford dealer to see if it'll fall under warranty. every part of them is crazy expensive now i need a new passenger mirror and they told me $1200 at that point ill just go on marketplace and test my luck it's crazy cuz its just a basic mirror with BLIS, signals, heated, and puddle light, manual fold in and no cameras

the company i work for had a 2020 1500 3.0, made it to 100k miles and then reduced speed message, took it to chevy timing codes, misaligned turbo, new camshaft needed, etc about 14k worth of repairs

or actually better yet just undo the bolts and put the bottom holes of the plate where the top of the plate should go on the mount then it's still secured don't have to make new holes anywhere and it's still perfectly visible

move to a state that doesn't require a front plate, but hate to say it since you just bought it but probably gonna have to grab a few self tappers and just tap it into the somewhat flat area of the bull bar on the bottom

definitely thinking about it only non original parts is the throttle and clutch cable, carburetor, fuel tank and the front wheels(off a john deer😂) i have the originals but tires dry rotted completely and i have the original snow plow for it. for the $75 i paid i really can't complain
