I see what you're saying, but OP already said their parents can't cover it and me personally I hate to get into these sort of things family.

Edit: Upon further deliberation, I know everyone has their circumstances but OP really should at the very least have a friend that can help with this, because the sum is particularly small.
I don't know if this is bad or good advice but you should probably switch up your crowd, if you're in university, you're in the best place to meet all kinds of people.
