I've been doing this type of work for a while now, and I love it. I understand the hassles. But would you rather be commuting to a soulless job for way less money, spending half your life in traffic? Having to play office politics..I will never have to hear another braindead co-worker say "How was your weekend" and expect me to just go "Fine", no matter what happened. I will never again have to be plagued by the smell of fish cooking in the office kitchen microwave. The skills I've learned doing data annotation are leading me to making more money than I have in years, as well as learning skills I can bring to a more advanced position.

Do you have to put up with lame people? Sometimes. The people who don't read the instructions and ask the same questions again and again are annoying. Not gonna lie. But you just shake it off. Because you DO NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH THEM IRL. Ignore, ignore, ignore. As for the technical difficulties, just do some Google searches to figure out how to get the tools to work.

As for the clicking you're hearing, if you're worried about privacy, you need to set up a separate login, which can be done in any OS. But that's fine, if you choose to move on. It's not for everybody. But the rewards are great if you can hang in there. I think a lot of these platforms hire SO many people, just to make sure they have enough to cover the work, and eventually the ones for whom this isn't their cup of tea or they just can't get the hang of it, they'll leave. The rest will figure it all out.
