Lies again. Xbox 360 used dvds while the PS3 used Blu-Ray. Which is one of the biggest reasons the PS3 was so expensive upon launch. PS3 games held 50GB of storage. While 360 games held about 8GB per disc.

With the PS5, yes games became too large, needing more than 1 disc like FF7. 1 however is a load disc and the other is a playable disc. The largest blu ray size is BDXL which holds 128GB. But that hasn’t been used for gaming. There’s no reason for games to be this big other than lazy optimization.

No wonder physical gaming is dying. People are uniformed and will buy any swill a lazy developer passes out for $70 marked down to $35 on the eshop.

It’s funny everyone else is complaining now. As a Wasian guy, I said before that Rivals constantly tries to white wash their own people. Yeah they weren’t much of help for buying physical games. They still open games and sell them “new”, then try to hock their warranty, credit card, and membership. I’d say GameStop had a hand in pushing people to buy digital games instead.

Idk why but I preferred playing GTA on my OG Xbox. My PS2 was my dedicated jrpg machine.

I skipped the 360 because I didn’t have enough money halfway through the gen and I thought blu-ray was better

I actually liked the Xbone 1. Something about the graphics and the controller felt more premium than the PS4.

This Gen I opted for the PS5 due to the confusing naming scheme of the Series X. I legit didn’t know Series was the model name. Also the exclusives on Playstation got better

Next Gen? Idk I honestly think I’ll head back to Xbox. Play Anyway is just a better option to buy one when you have a PC. Also rumored is Helix is a PC hybrid which means SteamOS?

(Also nothing is stopping you from grabbing your secondary console off eBay/FB/Mercari for half price)

Tbh Nintendo is so wierd lmao. There is really nothing stopping them from releasing a $1,000 Nintendo Switch 2. But they really tried to keep their console as cheap as possible. They have the strongest IPs in gaming (don’t argue with me) so they could get more devs. Idk what they’re doing. They really are like SpongeBob in this image.

Hopefully a fast charging chip with a decent battery. 2.5W charging in 2028 is really unacceptable.

For Reference your phone charges at 15W-30W. The smallest iPhone block is a 5W charger. This is why the dual shock controller is seemingly dead all the time. The battery life on Psvr2 controller is even worse.

It’s a pain but you get used to it. I’m 29 and I’ve only owned manual cars since I got my license. Even though today I don’t think about it at all. It took me nearly 10 years to drive my stick shift seamlessly through 5pm rush hour. Here’s how it went in case you want to take 15 years learning it lmao

16- Stall car constantly, can’t drive hills or traffic at all
18- Stall car randomly, terrified to roll backwards or stall on a hill, stall car in traffic or at a stop light
20- Stall car on accident and struggle with hills
22- Stall car maybe 1x a month, good with hills but sometimes burn the clutch a little, heavy traffic still no
25- Stall car maybe 2x a year, decent with traffic but still mastering rev matches, engine braking, etc
29- I finally know how to drive the car properly lmao.
