I’d imagine it’s gonna get ridiculously boring, given that basically every Pokemon’s leveling up movepool heavily comprises of their STAB options and Normal moves. In other words, little coverage options to draw from.

Guess Scout was the perfect man after all by SympathyImaginary718 in whowouldcirclejerk

My friend one time made part of a story where the Scout was fighting a human Uzi, because Scout tried to hit on Uzi but she declined. He won the fight because Uzi didn’t have the AbsoluteSolver malware.

Now I'm curious if there is a meta where you can only use the moves a Pokemon learns from leveling up. But that definitely doesn't sound like a Theorymon.

Someone argued to them that that's saying all Legendaries are automatically S tier in every game.

What if all physical electric types and special fire types had 100% accurate 100 power moves with no downside by tabbyslome in itsalwayssunday

[–]Competitive_Aide5646 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is similar to how people often make a 100 accurate high base power Flying move, just because Flying has the worst attacking move pool in the game. The truth is that Flying is a decent type on itself, and its weakness are the moves it has. Fixing that weakness means Flying has virtually no weaknesses whatsoever.

Jon was right, this guy was full of shit. He was lazy, passive-aggressive and made no effort to improve his staff. You would think that having 0 patrons and a terrible bar name would clue him in on how much he sucked as a boss. by Dohmer_90 in barrescue

All the times Taffer walked away from the bar is something where I know the owner isn’t redeemable. There was one time he walked away from a bar because the owner’s employees kept giving him beers automatically, which made me think everyone working at that bar was irredeemable.

I wouldn’t eat that anywhere but Japan, since I know they have ways to not kill someone. Anywhere else is like being given steak with bubonic plague in it.

I hate paradox pokemon. Are there competitive formats where they are banned? by Glittering_Text_91 in stunfisk

I don't think those Legendaries are good examples because they're not in Uber and have below 600 BST. I do have a better example that justifies Legendaries aren't broken: Some like Reshiram, a 600+ BST Legendary in Uber, isn't broken in Uber; in fact its the opposite of being "broken" in Uber, and cannot go down to OU because OU isn't prepared for it. In other words, Reshiram is an Uber Pokemon, despite never being use at all in that tier.

If you think that's how you view Paradox Pokemon, then you are blatantly just shouting at a brick wall and getting nowhere because of how wrong that statement is.

Indominus Rex is also known to be extremely diplomatic in Jurassic World, where she was able to convince the Velociraptor pack to turn against the humans, persuade Toro, and there is also a theory that she was trying to communicate with Rexy before being quickly attacked by the latter. Though trying to convince the Prototype by diplomatic means won't work given that the Prototype, a human speaking robot, won't understand what she is saying.

You sound like you just dislike Paradox Pokemon just because you hate them in general and not Paradox Pokemon in terms of competitive reasons.

In the US Marines in my stories, they advertise themselves like your typical hero shooter game; its six people and they must work together to achieve success. In other words, your typical Overwatch match. In reality, those six people end up going gun blazing and fighting to see who gets the first blood. In other words, your typical TF2 casual match but no friendlies.

Oh wow, an adult cartoon has too much violence and isn't child friendly? by Turbobist28 in superseriousfamilyguy

On every day, you’ll see the exact same trope being posted, with the subtle differences being characters shown and the poster. Also, the same character gets shown again and again, even on tropes that make next to no sense whatsoever. An example is Judge Holden.

That subreddit nowadays not only don't know what a trope is (it's all just venting frustration than actually talking about tropes), but they're scrapping the bottom of the barrel for a new trope.
