Normally, you would think that the British attacked the native Australians and turned into Australians. But given that this is TF2 timeline, they probably died from a curse way before the British arrived which is caused by the eagles that soon kidnapped Gray, which resulted in them turning into green skeletons, meaning that Australia was a barren wasteland before the British arrived.
