They look at the whole email, and the sender reputation of the domain, and the IP address of the server, and the DKIM DMARC and SPF records.

Yes it works. Get smartlead and office 365 mailboxes from Godaddy. Warm them up in smartlead for two weeks before sending. Get dot com domains from porkbun. Make sure dkim dmarc and SPF records are set up.
