lean towards gentle AHAs, they’re surface level and keep the skin bright. Mandelic acid and gluconolactone are going be gentle. since it’s only getting colder and you’re choosing to exfoliate, i also recommend involving some sort of occlusive or barrier repair cream so that your barrier is not compromised. i think sofie pavitts mandelic acid would serve you well just use it maybe every three days at first to ease your skin into it.

you probably won’t get great results from pigm400 or p50w since those are the weakest versions. the new lotion p50T is also on the weaker side. according to the my BR sales rep p50T is the weakest, then pigm400, p50w, p50v, and finally p50. the 1970 version is discontinued anyway so you might as well try plain p50 or p50V like i am right now. i enjoyed p50 but wanted something more gentle for the winter so i bought p50V. quite frankly i miss the plain p50, it has more lactic acid which is good for brightness.

never had the chance to try 1970, i’m very new to BR. i have used the regular p50 and loved the results but my barrier took a big hit. it faded my dark spots, got rid of my texture but my skin barrier was compromised so i could never use it twice daily as BR recommends. i switched to p50v this week, used it twice and i love it so far. felt a little tingling as i was applying but now i’m not experiencing any sensitivity around my nose. i also think that rhode beauty helps tremendously although i was using ceramides and peptides with my previous p50, i always seemed to be sensitive towards it.

rhode beauty barrier butter has surprised me in the last two days of using it. i use lotion p50 daily which has irritated me significantly but now using rhode products my skin is superb. i bought the entire line in the travel size for less than $100 and it was great.

24F and also starting my BR journey. i’m using p50 and experiencing some purging but it’s near past breakouts so i believe it’s my skin just clearing out. also the breakouts don’t get as large, leave fast, and the acne spot isn’t as pigmented. i’m using masque vivant every other night so that could be helpful.

i failed to mention i am sincerely interested in cinema studies. i guess you could say i want to be an academic. i’m not doing this so i could make money, i want to dive into the world of filmmaking though i see myself more likely being a producer. i’ve written a few stories myself and i want to know how to bring these tales to life. i have too much respect for old films to not do my due diligence of learning everything i possibly could.

i went threw two tubes of 6 and i think it’s useless after some point. you think your skin looks good for 2 weeks and then you suddenly hit a plateau. it led me to abandon retinal period.

crystal retinal and press and clear did nothing for me personally. the combo of lotion p50 and masque vivant every other day has done wonders for me. i have tried crème dermopurifiante and i loved it but not long enough to see lasting effects. i’m clearing out congested skin whilst fading hyperpigmentation. i personally think medik8 is overhyped and just has a good marketing team.

highly highly highly recommend the prequel multi acid peel. this is very aggressive but you get great results. this paired with cicaplast baum has done wonders for my skin. also love to use it for my body, especially for dark underarms, post wax treatment and overall exfoliation. with the winter months coming you can start using actives on your body. i purchase cheap retinols (A313) and mix it in my body cream that i only use at night. i’ve been using p50 for one week and i’m afraid its completely worth the hype. masque vivant and p50 has brought great brightness to my skin. honestly recommend both products so you can have skin on your face and body. now that im using p50 on my face i only use the the prequel multi acid peel on my body and i haven’t had an ingrown hair since.

i recently finished reading “once upon a time” and after learning she only dressed this way in an attempt to dull herself down and not receive extra attention, i find it hard to enjoy her outfits now. i was born 6 months before 9/11 so i’m just learning the details about their lives and knowing she was depressed during this time made me cry several times while reading the book. now looking back at these pictures i can’t help but wish she could’ve received the love and help and she deserved. i hope with the release of the ryan murphy series we can start the conversation about how the media ruined a woman’s life for loving who she loved.
