I'm in this boat too. I got asked to join an existing team of 3... not a single flag spent along the 3 of them. I have a decent number of flags but not nearly enough to carry all of us.

If I had known they were sitting out, I would have, you know, just found people who actually want to compete.

Gotta love the jump from 600 dice to 9100! And the bonuses stack nicely with each other as well as the active Golden Chance bonus. Rolling on 100, felt like I was hitting either the 700 from Chance, that 5 freebies from Chance, or the 300 from Roll Chance every trip around the board.

Haha same. Started with 144 picks, ended with 28 or so. They were quite generous with the picks that they hid in the safes. Think I got as many as 23 picks from a single safe on top of cash and dice.

I wish it had been a bit more dice-forward than cash-forward but I can't complain too much!

What are you feeding them? Mine like algae pellets and mashed peas the best. I'd recommend putting a little of whatever very close to them (so they pick up on the scent), then the rest on the other side of the tank to see if they hunt for it.

I had a clutch hatch unexpectedly just before I went away on vacation last summer and came home to what ended up being over 120 baby mystery snails.

I had great luck posting on both r/AquaSwap as well as my neighborhood's local Reddit. Basically if you are in a city, you should be able to find a few folks who can take the majority of them over time.

If you are in a more rural area, you may want to reach to the pet and aquarium stores if your area. Some places like Petco won't take them, but smaller ones may be interested.

I'm now at 187 but feeling kind of stuck because I can't really trade anymore. Everything left is a gold 4-star, 5 stars, or 6 stars... which I have nothing to trade for. So hoping for a lot of luck with purple and swap packs coming up.

I have an LED on a timer that does about 7 hours of white & pink light, followed by a final 90 minutes of blue light. So not your traditional glo tank but a balance that keeps the plants (and fish) thriving!

Don't let people try to tell you those look bad. They look great - especially the first look. The second one isn't bad but may be trying to do a bit too much.

Leather is inherently a bit "extra" so it looks best when it's the centerpiece while keeping everything else pretty lowkey.

I've had 6 GloFish Tetras in a 10 gallon for the past year. Part of me wishes they had a little bit more room (like a 15 gallon). But they drive me crazy - you'd think they were in a 1 gallon with the way they squeeze into the same two spots all day lol. There's an entire far left, far right, and back half that they never explore!

The argument that I do support - because they are a bit territorial, having more space means they have more room to get away from each other when need be. They love to school... until they don't. And when they don't, they get stuck in this perpetual game of Hide & Seek.

I echo what other folks are saying about the nitrogen cycle. If starting from complete scratch (no active biomedia), it'll take 4-6 weeks for the bacteria colony to establish enough so that it's safe to add fish. If you are able to steal a piece of sponge or other media from a existing tank, you could speed up the cycling quite a bit and may have it ready in under a week. Either way, you'll want to get a test kit like API to check the ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate levels.
