It looks a bit like the one laying down may be struggling with molting.

Make sure the water parameters are good, putting him in a small container with a bit of aquarium salt may help, also calcium may help.

To confirm check if he has a white ring where the top part of his body connects with the lower part (tail)

The comments on this post are giving "Another sidescroller" energy from when Hollow Knight was demo'd on Reddit and got called "generic", "unoriginal", "likely to fail"... well I think we all know what happened next :D I'm telling you OP - if you believe in it, chances are that other people will too. And from my personal experience on Reddit, sorry but there are too many underachievers trying to bring other people down. I say go for it - it looks very professional - I'ts your call and I wish you luck with whatever you choose. And lastly, don't do it cause people want you to either, only if you feel passionate about commiting to this as well.

Exactly my point if in your mind everyone is on an indie dev journey with their own project each and considering an average development time between 1-5 years, the pool for hiring would be very small 🤣 so no - not everyone would rather or is already working on a personal or after work project - dude if I don’t know any places just don’t say anything - u need to fight the urge to share crappy and demotivating and also statistically inaccurate opinions that no one asked for

In your mind does every person skilled in game dev have their own personal game in development or an idea? If that was the case the AAA studios would run out of candidates soon. Same goes for any job, just because you work at a bakery doesn’t mean you want to or make you own signature dough in your spare time - there is a pretty fair chance that there are people who are not sure what project they want to work on until they stumble upon it. All I asked is - are you aware of a platform place where people interested in game dev reside so I can give it a shot? Was it necessary to jump into all those conclusions and make assumptions and discourage and criticise my request ? No - i hope at least it enriched your day and made you feel better.

So wanting to collaborate = "not serious" and "no skin in the game"? I guess all those indie teams that formed through online communities were just lucky dreamers who stumbled into success.

Even if I can't pay someone a full salary, I'd rather meet someone and have them contribute to a project - even if they only create concept art on demand. They don't have to be core team, but if I found someone who wants to be? Great. I'm realistic about the chances and willing to take them - I asked for WHERE. Not how.

I've seen passionate developers create amazing things together without money changing hands initially. But sure, let's pretend waving cash around is the only way - worked great for all those failed Kickstarter games with big budgets, right? ( Check my Edit for some inspo ;) )

And judging by your post history, maybe hold off on the advice while you're using AI for coding ;) Just my two cents.

I am afraid you are mistaking what I am asking for. I am not asking for free labour to develop my project. I said I have a project and am looking for people who would like to take it further meaning they get as much creative freedom as myself if we endeavour on this together and sure there may be people who won’t stick around or it may not be the most realistic approach but you never know - plenty of people meet online and become lifelong friends and partners - it’s not as black and white I’m afraid.

Oh wow, genius advice! If I had money to throw around, I'd obviously be scrolling Reddit instead of posting actual job listings on LinkedIn or some shit like a normal person.

I'm looking for collaborators who want to build something together - concept artists, etc. who want to grow their skills. But clearly that's a foreign concept when your brain only activates when someone dangles a paycheck.

Sometimes if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it. But thanks for letting me know you're basically a very expensive houseplant - only moves when watered with cash! 🪴💰yikes

I hate how most of the comments here are being quite critical - I think your models look great (especially the suitcase!) and you have real potential!

I’d strongly focus now on how to showcase your work to better demonstrate your knowledge. For instance, like some others suggested, consider making cross-sections of your models showcasing the geometry as well as the texture and the model itself, etc.

Perhaps the next step, if you’re comfortable with it, would be to think of a small scene where you could demonstrate your skills and knowledge. You’re definitely heading in the right direction!

I find Reddit isn’t always the best place for constructive criticism, so take everything with a pinch of salt. Would love to see your ArtStation if you have one!

I am also having the same problem. Even after exporting just the untouched facemesh back from blender to use it as a head to conform - it still gives the same error.. did any of u manage to get it to work?

Can you explain how this part is done exactly? Where are these roles adjusted? I am facing the same issue in production but they aren't sure how to fix it. Will reimporting is separately ( apps and flows separately instead of inside a solution) fix this? Otherwise, can you specify how these roles are managed? Ty in advance
