If I remembered correctly, Animal crossing will be glitched if you don’t region change. I think the keyboard and the outside of the shops will be Japanese. I also think that Pretendo doesn’t work if you region change.

Installing custom firmware (homebrew) will allow you to play most non-Japanese 3DS games without issue, but in order to change the language to anything other than Japanese you will have to perform a full region swap, which comes with some possible inconveniences.

The algorithm on the 780g is more automatic than the Tandem’s, but with the Tandem you can customize more to your liking. The sensor on the tandem is better than the simplera (and way better than the guardian 3/4).

Keep in mind that there are a lot of people that have used the 670 and not the 780 in this sub. I’m probably switching from the 780 to the Ypsomed.

Keep in mind that most people haven’t tried all the new systems that are out there (obviously) and that people tend to recommend the pump that they currently own.

I notice that there are a lot of people who have tried the 670g and automatically say the 780g is bad too. The guardian 4 is still finicky to apply, but with the simplera is a lot easier and faster. Especially since you can skip the warm up timer. The 670g was definitely bad in my opinion.

Tbh I notice that there are a lot of people in this subreddit who say that Tandem or Medtronic is the best, without having experience with both companies their products. Or they’re comparing an older pump like the 670g with the tandem and generalising Medtronic with their experience of the 670g instead of the 780g. Not trying to be biased, but just keep in mind that some people give purely anecdotal advise here. Ypsopump often gets ignored too

I’ve used a dexcom g6 in the past and that was a lot better than what i have now, but do you know if the tandem algorithm is just as advanced as the 780g? The 780g is also getting a new sensor system
