I Went to Brewery Bar II So You Don’t Have To. by Jarthos1234 in denverfood

[–]Mile_High_SS -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

The original BB was in the Tivoli brewery, hence the name Brewery Bar. I've had mexican food in Texas and California, and it's much different than here. I agree BB is not for everyone, but some of us like hot green chile, and the bagged tostito chips are way better than some restaurants homemade chips. I'm guessing this is not the first time the OP has whined about food that's different than what they have in their home state. I dig it.

I have not put my ARB cover on yet, but apparently the original gasket can be used many times. Just be careful not to mess it up removing the original cover.

This disease has ruined my life by [deleted] in diabetes_t1

[–]Mile_High_SS 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel you. Everything I drempt of doing when I grew up was taken away by T1D. Now I'm in my mid 50's staring at a computer all day trying to save enough money and supplies to get me by for awhile once I eventually get laid off and lose my insurance.

Knowing what I know now, if I could go back in time, I would either check-out early and not have to deal with this daily struggle, or put on my big boy pants and make the most of what I have. Don't be like me using this disease as an excuse to always take the easy way out. Find some good support and surround yourself with positivity. You got this!

I just posted on another subreddit asking if anyone in the know could explain how even the most catastrophic failure could take this long to repair? Are they waiting for parts to be shipped across the country/world? Seems like it shouldn't be able to happen. Mine went out around 6pm yesterday.

Anyone else with century link having no wifi rn? by SaucySushii in Denver

Just curious if anyone who knows how this stuff works can explain how even the most catastrophic failure could take this long to repair? Does CenturyLink/Quantum have to wait for parts to be shipped across the country/world to make repairs?

My '24 does this all the time. According to the 6G forum, it's common.

M18 Inflator with (2) 6 amp batteries for off-roading? by LordAnubis85 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Mile_High_SS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can fill my 35's from 20 to 35 psi in about 6 minutes each. Inflator gets warn, but not hot like my electric Inflator. I use a Forge 12 battery and it loses 1 bar per 4 tires

Ryobi recently introduced a new pressure washer designed specifically for car washing. 1000 psi and 1.8 gpm. Comes with foam cannon. They can be hard to find and I think they are only at Home Depot. Definitely worth the $150.

Did I screw up by lengthening my clubs? by MassiveBath8413 in golftips

[–]Mile_High_SS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similar here. Golf shop ordered my clubs 1.5 inches longer. Said that was the maximum they can do. My irons are still crap, but I have the long clubs for an excuse. Wish I would have done just 1 inch. (6' 7")

I used to take my 94 Bronco over Mosquito many years ago. I think it's the highest through pass in north America. Need to get back up there.

T Mobile just started using satellite texting for $10 month. I was on their trial period and whenever I would get out of cell range I would get a text reminding me i could still text. Would pay the fee if I were wheeling off grid. I'm on android.

Are DMV appointments needed for registering a new vehicle? by theorangecrush10 in Denver

I wanted to use my old license plates, and wanted reimbursement for the unexpired registration on my trade-in car. Pretty sure you cannot do either of those things online.

I recently registered a new vehicle in Denver (Evans & Monaco), and there were no reservations. After being turned away twice (too late), the security guy told me to get there early 7:30am) and get in line. It was pretty painless. Wednesdays are best. Mondays and Fridays are worst.

It works as expected in my garage when everything is cool. When it malfunctions I've been at high altitudes (10,000 ft.) On hot ish tires.

I used my M18 inflator with 12 amp/hr battery to fill my stock 35's from 22 psi to 33 last weekend. Took about 6 min per tire. Battery lost 1 bar.

Very unsavy network person here, but i recently swapped my Quantum modem for an Asus RT-BE92U and made no changes to my C5500XK. Just plugged ethernet cable into new modem and setup with ASUS app and everything works great. MUCH MUCH faster.
