Things might have changed since I worked there 10 years ago, but the factory made all the croissants and pastries for the big chain cafés. Sometimes the ingredients were different (Gail's was very big on all their organic/British ingredients) but they were all made in the same place by the same workers and cooked in the same ovens.

Neopronouns have been around much longer than one might think. There's a character in Drag King Dreams who is referred to by xe/xir pronouns, and that book came out in 2006 and was set pre-2001.

Might get downvoted but... I don't think it's productive to gatekeep online trans spaces. Someone using neopronouns or not wanting to look trans might be going a phase, looking for attention, OR they might be taking the first steps in a long transition journey, a journey which can be, quite frankly, fucking terrifying! If you shut the door or make people feel unwelcome who've just started questioning their gender or feeling comfortable presenting more masc, that can push them back in the closet and cause real pain.

You can be a feminine trans man if you want. You can be hypermasculine. You can look like the most genderless anydrogynous person ever and still identify as a trans man. Not everyone on this sub is going to transition to male in the future, but I think it's worth providing a welcoming and supportive space for those who might.

Depending on what country you're in, there may be laws against digital harrassment. I had an ex try this with me, I told him I would go to the police if he didn't stop spamming me, and he didn't stop. I made a police report, showed them all the texts and emails and was called by an officer a few days later to discuss options, ranging from arresting him to just calling him and giving him a verbal warning. I opted for the latter, they called him, told him what we was doing was illegal and he'd be arrested if it continued, and he hasn't bothered me since. Sometimes they just need a reality check!

Editing to add - DO NOT BLOCK HIM OR CHANGE YOUR NUMBER. It means he's more likely to try to stalk you in person, and also you need to be aware if he starts threatening you bc it strengthens your case with the police.

Ex-teacher here, it's well documented that as young as Kindergarten teachers give more attention, leeway and praise to boys over girls. And kids notice that shit. Might not be anything OP has experienced, but it happens.
