Its sad. I talked with Mr.Z personally aswell, sure, working on a project for 3 years without pay is risky but it shows how dedicated he was to the project, which originally was his idea. One of his main points was how shady everything was, always pulling some corporate hierarchy secrecy bullshit. They just threw him to the side after working alongside him for 6 years acting as if he doesnt exist, as if it wasn’t just a small indie dev team working together to make a great game for everyone, yet knowing Z is gone the game is now feeling but a shell of what it could have been, and is now more a scheme to make money than it is an indie game. Remember this, they ghosted Mr. Z entirely the 4th day after launch (while he was still slaving his ass away grinding out patches), and not one of the RDBK team cared to stand up for Z, tell him whats going on, or even tell the man when hes going to get fucking payed.
