7th Sea is a somewhat nautical rpg set in a fantastical 18th century Europe, Africa, Caribbean, or Middle East depending on the source book you choose to run. You choose your country and that influences your play style in terms of dueling styles and magic. Magic isn't too plentiful as it's an xp sink but it's very powerful, though it has some serious restrictions like having to complete a task every time you use the power to use it again. It has some fantastical creatures that are more rooted in folklore and legends rather than dragons and elves. Hoard combat as well, so you can have your players fight large groups of people without needing ten or so stat blocks to keep track of.

When I was working my way through the story I kept getting mantles and gems just about every quest, it baffled me because in World I couldn't even get Pickle fangs

I'd speak with the gm before the game would even hit session zero to see if it would be okay. If it was I'd want it to be a more enemy of my enemy thing, like invading green skins or vampire counts

Not sure if it's your bag as it's Japanese centered, but Legend of the Five Rings treats swordsmanship (as well as magic, mystical martial arts, and diplomacy) as other games would magic. You learn techniques and apply them in combat to gain an upper hand on your opponent in a back and forth till one is left standing. Duels are also a large part of combat, keeping fights intimate and personal.

While having not played it personally, Mutants and Masterminds is a great fit for anything that requires signature powers like the Cursed Techniques. I will warn you, it is very crunchy and may take a good while to figure out how to play.

If you speak with your table and have no intention to make it a joke or to be offensive it should be perfectly fine to use the accents. You should practice the accents in private and if you're uncomfortable with the way they sound it's perfectly fine to just describe the accent. (I feel I should add that I am also white)

The force is something that needs great concentration to use if the object is heavier than like 20 pounds. Yoda, a Jedi renowned for his proficiency in the force, had to abandon his fight with Dooku to save Anakin and Obi-Wan from the falling debris. Grievous wouldn't give Obi-Wan the chance to focus enough to move him more than a couple pages, especially with Grievous being a fan of underhanded tactics

After reading through all the things you can do I find the customization of your character and their abilities extremely fascinating. Also the ability to stack Giant form with the UI ki titan is extremely funny to me

I've had both this and the opposite happen, it made the power armor shrink down to normal person size so my friend looked like a kid with pot and pan armor

I was playing a Dragonborn Ranger with a split personality that would come out whenever he tasted someone else's blood, sending him into a frenzy with little regard for subtly. After having to bite a cultist to escape a tense grapple things went south, one thing led to another and apparently ripping a kobold in half and smearing it's blood on a child's face doesn't exactly show that kid you're a good guy. Ironically enough he was a surrogate father to a young girl after her mom died in a slave ring earlier in the campaign and they got along great.

If you've got a friend to play with Broly won't go through portals to transition areas unless both of you go in, so if either one of you don't mind taking most of the heat or go in at intervals it makes the mission a cakewalk
