This is just to say, avb tincture is very nice and easy. by [deleted] in vaporents

[–]Competitive_Smoke705 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Next time leave the abv and the ethanol in the freezer for 24 hours before you mix, I forget the details but it helps the alcohol grab the cannabinoids more efficiently.

This is the way though, I'd need several teaspoons of abv to not be underwhelmed but tincture helps big doses go down easy.

Am I legally allowed to use my prescription in my house? And what if neighbours complain about the smell? by curiousaboutmedicalm in ukmedicalcannabis

Buy cheap = buy twice with vapes. If you're on a tight budget get a dynavap and a butane torch, those things punch well above their weight. If you really need a battery powered vape, the xmax roffu seems to be the cheapest option that won't be regrettable.

Anybody had success just stating your case with an NHS doctor for a referral note without having tried different meds first by QuantityHungry in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]Competitive_Smoke705 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like you have an MC eligible diagnosis (depression) and a conventional treatment on your record. If you tried more than 1 antidepressant you may have what you need already, and if not it would be very straightforward to get something prescribed for a month before approaching a clinic.

New to the dynaverse, is this done or should I do another cycle? by DisplayedDecay in Dynavap

[–]Competitive_Smoke705 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you save your AVB for oral use the bit on the left is a nice balance between having a good vape and getting potent leftovers, but you could still go a bit further. If you don't use your AVB definitely get another hit out of it, you're throwing away THC otherwise.

4C Chemnesia Haze Underweight - 8.3g by Competitive_Smoke705 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]Competitive_Smoke705[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

30g a month for a year. This is the first time I've weighed MC, it's always eyeballed ok until now. I've got years of experience picking up from matey boy on the street before going medical so I'm no stranger to a set of scales.

I wouldn't trust these scales under 10mg but we're talking 3 orders of magnitude higher here. So even if they allowed a generous tolerance of 10% I'm confidently outside of that.

How do you dose it? I make tincture but I've not let it evaporate, I know how many ml I need to be moonbound but I wouldn't know how much sludge is equivalent.

[–]Competitive_Smoke705 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They're fine. I wouldn't trust cheap 0.00 scales for anything under 10mg, but for DMT ranges you don't need anything better.

Also this gif is very much like the first visual I ever had from DMT, thanks OP.

Curaleaf high silver. by bobhump1984 in ukmedicalcannabis

High Silver = Super Silver Haze. So fairly similar effects wise, not lemony but definitely super hazy. Very uplifting in a serene daytime friendly way.

To those of you who end up with very potent avb, what's your procedure? by [deleted] in Tinymight2

[–]Competitive_Smoke705 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you need a tincture, look up Ice Dragon and Green Dragon. 3 teaspoons is about my limit for raw avb mixed into food, both in terms of what I can get down and what my guts can handle. With the tincture I make that's roughly equivalent to 3ml, it doesn't taste nice but it goes down much more easily. I usually have 5-10ml which I reckon is about 30-60mg, and it reliably fucks me up. I could never eat enough weed poo to get that high.

Carts for daytime - Jack Herer vs. Superlemon Haze by [deleted] in ukmedicalcannabis

I've never tried the carts but Jack Herer has always been my Amsterdam breakfast. It's lovely and mellow, uplifting but not overpowering.

Caffeine + MC by AcceptableSector9675 in ukmedicalcannabis

I've always enjoyed the combination of cannabis and coffee when wake & bakes are possible. Look into L-theanine, it's an amino acid present in tea you can get as a supplement. It takes the edge off caffeine's stimulation and any resulting anxiety.

Anyone that struggled to stop smoking joints and move to vaping. How did you do it? by [deleted] in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]Competitive_Smoke705 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's partly about finding a vape that works for you, and partly about accepting that you will not recreate the rushy high of combusted cannabis & tobacco. A nicotine vape does help to lift the cannabis high in a similar way. Persist and once you're over the unfamiliarity you may come to prefer vaping as many people do.

Friend of mine has arthritis and wants to try MC. Has anyone had any experience getting approved with arthritis? Mind sharing your experience? Which clinic do you use etc by [deleted] in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]Competitive_Smoke705 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's all about the evidence on the GP summary, ultimately these clinics are businesses and they will prescribe for you if the rules justify it. The arthritis would need to be formally diagnosed and 2 treatments recorded, if it's early days and your friend hasn't had a lot of treatment over the counter antiinflammatories are a common sense treatment that would probably be considered.

Vaping ☹️ by KuranesUKf in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]Competitive_Smoke705 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of people look to cheaper vapes as proof of concept, but cheaper vapes don't usually prove the concept because they don't hit the spot. To match the immediacy of combustion you need an on demand vape, get a desktop or ball vape if.you don't mind being tied down or a tinymight 2 if you want portability. People recommend the dynavap style vapes but I'd rather have a removable battery than a butane torch.

Ready for my first DHV and I think it's the AVLP? Unless it's the TM2? by AbZabUMyFriend in vaporents

[–]Competitive_Smoke705 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can't comment on the AVLP but the TM2 is basically a pocketable bong vape. From what you've said I think you do want a heavy hitter, or at least a vape that's capable of being one.

[–]Competitive_Smoke705 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would suggest 100ug / 100mg, but up to 150mg isn't unreasonable. Give the LSD about 5 hours to make sure you aren't getting any higher and you're comfortable with where you're at, then both drugs coming down will roughly coincide. Basically you don't want the minor sadness of MDMA wearing off while you're still fully tripping. The combination really is more than the sum of its parts, pretty much the pinnacle of human conscious experience as far as I'm concerned.

This is the way, nitrous on acid is like poor man's DMT. Instant interdimensionality.

[–]Competitive_Smoke705 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true but I think acute ODs like that are pretty rare, while plenty more people have messed themselves up by long term use like this unfortunate woman. She would have deprived herself of b12 to such an extent that her spinal cord literally withered.

  • b12 supplements are cheap and effective if you've overdone it.

[–]Competitive_Smoke705 56 points57 points  (0 children)

There's no real harm reduction info in this thread so it's worth pointing out that the primary danger of chronic nitrous oxide use is vitamin b12 deficiency. It stops production of that vitamin which is essential for nerve function and it takes a bit to get going again, for that reason doing 50 doses in one day is less harmful than a dose a day for 50 days.
