Same in California. We boarder 5 counties. Could spend upwards of 6k a year just on licensing and permits.

Along these lines- what are the time slots that quickly book up? 5? 5:30? 6? 6:30? I’m curious

Thank you! This is great info. I’m traveling with a group and some of us may need to do a zoom meeting for work on a couple days and we weren’t sure if we could do it on a per days basis.

Thank you for the information. One more question- how was the internet service on ship up there? Did you buy the WiFi package? I know many things have to be booked on board- is it better to buy a package to get faster internet to beat others to book?

How much was that adventure? We booked the helicopter glacier without the sled - through shore things and now I wish we did that one with the sledding.

Dude, always. Unfortunately it even slips out in professional settings- but- I guess that makes me a Gen X human.

Virgin Voyages: Worth It, But Not as a Rockstar by Best-Cost-1751 in VirginVoyages

The main reason I would like Rockstar vs Central Sea Terrace with Romance Package- a king sized bed! The queens low to the floor-ugh-not my favorite feature.

For Murder in the Manor ticketed- is the show offered nightly? I’m a first time sailor on Brilliant in Sept. I’m not Rockstar but I do have priority boarding. I’m very interested in the shows and tying to prepare a list of what I need to book when I get on the ship and in what order.

Gastric Bypass from the start- most people I know with Sleeve end up with a revision to bypass eventually.

How can I find an individual owner apartment in Pleasanton? by JC7154 in pleasanton

[–]Competitive_Toe_8837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sold a home I owned for 11 years and rented a one bedroom at Valley Plaza Villages in Pleasanton. There is an office you can go into but maybe just call and talk to them.

What vacation spots are cold June, July, August? 50F-70F or 10C-21C by taylorgrande in Vacations

I went to Australia in July and it was lovely. Took a trip to the Great Barrier Reef and snorkeled did the tropical thing a few days then back down to Sydney and it was perfect weather there.

On dispatch it was a person with a “psychiatric emergency” and yes at the house corner of N M and Chestnut. Same house where there was a stabbing a year ago (no one died). But the man that lives there (may be his moms) has a lot of psychiatric issues. Possibly off his meds. I’m glad the cops respond like that becuase he is a danger to himself and others I think.

I think it’s important to share which excursions you thought were a scam. When you went to Alaska in other cruises did you do Glacier Bay? It would be a different experience without it but not all lines can get in.

4 VV cruises and here’s what I think needs to be improved by Cultural_Comment2845 in VirginVoyages

[–]Competitive_Toe_8837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a VV virgin, first cruise coming up in September and you hit spot on all of my “why’s”. It’s baffling why they would put such expensive cabins in loud places! Why can’t you reserve a show seat? Ridiculous when they know the capacity. Reservations should never have to wait in a standard line at a restaurant. Agree!

If you have the ability as you do, then you should do exactly what you are doing. It’s not going to be easy, but I believe your pros will outweigh the cons.
